it's been a rough week.
Animal Collective new EP, foo! i haven't even given it a real listen yet, in fact i'm listening to it as i write this, so i don't have much to say other than here you go! i hope it's wicked. i'll write my opinion on it later! you can all thank my brother for showing me this during an incrediblly busy week for me. sorry for posting so late, you guys.

i can't believe i haven't posted this yet. i love this album. high places is a band from brooklyn, composed of one guy and one gal. the girls voice is heavenly. it's really soft and they put a lot effects on it to make it softer, it's really nice. the music is tough to categorize. i'll trust wikipedia and say experimental though. it's really nice to listen to, and i really recommend the download. listen to "From Stardust to Sentience", i'm pretty sure you'll love it. it's really nice music to listen to in any mood, that's a big reason of why i like it i guess. anyways, i hope you like it as much as i do!

i saw diplo at lollapalooza, and he played this song that blew my fucking mind. it took me fucking forever to find it, but i finally did. it's insane. at least, i think so. take a listen! the bloop like sounds are just soo0o0o0o dope!

This is most likely my favorite album of all time. I hope you like it as well. The only song i don't like is the last, which, is so weird for me cause typically i like maybe around 3 songs on an album. i really hope you like it. if not, i will burn Utica to the ground (joke). My dad has it on vinyl and with the static in the background it just sounds soooo sweeeeeeeeet. The smiths are my favorite band, and this is their best album, in my opinion. it's late and i'm tired so i'll stop writing cause i'm repeating myself, but listen to it alright? hey thanks

honestly, i have no idea why i haven't thought of putting this up yet. i love this album. it's noise rock stuff. i got the album because they were supposed to open for crystal castles when i saw them, but crystal castles couldn't play that night, so HEALTH played basiclly a full set. these guys played so loud i almost went into a coma. i was right at the front, but it was still insanly loud. It was an incredible show, and i really reccomend this album! i can't really compare it to bands, but i guess it's kind of like AIDS Wolf + Xiu Xiu + the album leaf, but, that's just kind of what i'm throwing together in my head right now, haha. listen to the song tabloid sores, crimewave (which, crystal castles remixed to get their single), // M \\, and glitter pills. i listened to glitter pills religiously at one time, and has a solid spot on my itunes' "Most 25 played" playlist. just download this, you dig?
ps. when you're listening to //M\\, think of how that would sound live. they opened with that song, that shit blew my mind!
