note: i'm going to start reviewing the albums i post. it was suggested by a friend, and hopefully will provide an opinion in which you can agree with. however, it's obviously just my opinion, so don't make threats to burn down my house or anything. so yeah, read the stuff i write, please. thanks.(and please comment! i love comments) :)

note 2: sorry for taking so fucking long to post sometimes. i feel bad not updating, but i don't really know if anyone comes on here cause theres never any comments or shit, so i just kind of hope haha. and i've been working on a new layout too! it'll be dope. so the posts have been a little more spaced out. sorry again!

A-Trak - Infinity+1
(click cover to download)

to start this off, i expected a lot more from this album. don't get me wrong, the songs on it aren't that bad (less than half in my opinion.) but only TWO (2) are by, or in part by, A-trak himself? i mean i understand that it might be kind of cool to realease mixtapes these days, diplo did one, blaqstarr does a bunch, to name a few, but if you're going to, make it one with songs that 1) are new, 2) are really good and mesh well together. diplo's mixtape release with santogold (now santigold? haha justigold) was awesome. it had unreleased stuff by him, and a bunch of other people that all colaborated in order to make an album. to me, that's what an album is composed of. to me, this album is more like an essential mix he made or something, that's just another mp3 in my itunes, just in 21 songs as opposed to one. i'm not quite sure though, imean, i could be wrong, but i don't think that any of these songs are rare and unreleased or anything, so it's just kind of a usual mix...except on a cd in stores.
i don't know, i don't mean to pick on it or anything, but i guess i was pretty let down by this album. worth the grab for the Holy Ghost! song alone, though.

Rating: 5.4/10
