diplo was probably the first dj i got into, even before he started making house-like music that he is now. he was in Hollertronix, which was a band including him and DJ Scottie B. they made a cd called Never Scared which was an incredible mash-up cd, which girl talk later tried, but way before him, and much better. this mixtape is his latest, which has gotten him a lot of credit, even being a nominee for "album of the year" for URB magazine. Diplo produces Santogold, M.I.A, i think is doing something for Dark Meat soon, and much more. M.I.A and diplo dated, too, and she's also been accused for taking credit alot of his songs/beats. if you've listened to diplo for a while, and then listen to M.I.A's "Kala", it really seems that way. in conclusion without diplo, M.I.A would not exist, as far as good music goes (in my opinion).

anyways, i got off topic, but this is something different to what i usually post. it's a mixtape, so has various artists. i think you'll like it though, and if i could reccomend a few songs, i'd say "Im A Lady (Diplo Mix Ft. Amanda Blank)", "Lights Out (Diplo/Panda Bear Mix)", oh and "Barbwire" is amazing(ly cool)!
